About us

We are Charles Akins, Sr. and Erica Akins, partners both personally and professionally, accompanied by our son, Charles Akins, Jr. and are the owners of C2E Designs and Décor LLC.  Our business is founded on the principles of faith! Charles Sr., who holds a bachelor's degree in finance, has over 36 years of experience as a Financial Analyst and Program Manager. He retired in 2022 to pursue his calling as a pastor and dedicate more time to his family.  Erica has a Master of Business Administration and a bachelor’s degree in accounting. She retired as an Accountant from the Federal Government in 2025, concluding nearly 30 years of distinguished service.

Shortly after retiring, we sought guidance and clarity regarding our next steps—specifically, whether to pursue traditional employment or entrepreneurship.  God answered and confirmed with scripture (Isaiah 43:19) and told us that he was doing a new thing!  We are now embarking on a new chapter of our lives doing what we love and are passionate about: decorating, building professional networks, and helping others.  Our desire is to build generational wealth for our family and leave a legacy of faith for our children.  Thus, our reason for including and teaching our son, Charles Jr., how to conduct business with honesty, integrity, high ethical standards, and being Holy Spirit led in our endeavors.  We look forward to designing beautiful displays and decorations that bring our customers’ dreams to life and building lasting relationships.
